Last updated: October 2026. This policy explains how Gildmere ("we", "us") handles your personal data in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Information we collect

When you buy our eBook we collect your name, email address and billing country so we can deliver your purchase and send your receipt. We do not collect or store card details.

Payments by Stripe

All payments are processed securely by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd and its affiliates ("Stripe"). When you pay, your payment information is provided directly to Stripe, which uses it to process the transaction, prevent fraud and meet its legal obligations. Stripe may also act as the reseller of record and handle tax and transaction-related support. Stripe's handling of your data is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.

How we use your data

To deliver your eBook, provide customer support, comply with tax and accounting law, and — only if you opt in — send occasional news. We never sell your data.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies needed for the site and checkout to work. Stripe may set cookies during checkout for fraud prevention.

Retention

Purchase records are kept for six years to meet HMRC requirements, then deleted.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, or object to its processing. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
